Fin de temporada/ End of season

End of season (Fin de temporada) is an essay about the effects of the current economic model on water resources and leisure, through the ruins of 41 water parks in Spain and Portugal.

These 41 abandoned parks are the setting for a video essay and a publication. The short film shows a character who, with the intention of taking a bath, returns to the water parks where she would go to play as a child. Severe water restrictions in Spain and Portugal have now reduced these spaces to ruins. As she traverses these grounds, she contemplates the idea of progress and its consequences on the territory. The publication collects the plans, data and photographs of the 41 parks, and interviews with experts in water management, tourism, design and activism, showing a multifaceted vision of the situation.
